Hi, I am Lucy Hunter, and I live in London. Last week, my family went on a vacation for three days. During our trip, I made simple drawings in my journal. That was a great way to capture all the special moments. At last, we set foot at Stonehenge, one of the most mysterious places on Earth. After a two-hour drive from our home in London, we finally got to Stonehenge. It was just amazing to see the ring of huge stones. How did those huge stones get there thousands of years ago? What were they for? I guess Stonehenge will remain a mystery for a long time. Don't try to make a perfect drawing. A few colors will be enough.

In the morning, we walked around the Cotswolds. It started to rain in the afternoon, so we decided to stay indoors at our B&B. A B&B is a popular place to stay in England. It feels more like a home than a hotel. The owner invited us for afternoon tea today. The dining table was full of cookies, cake, bread, and cheese. While I was busy eating, Mom was admiring the beautiful cups and plates. I ate too much, so I couldn't eat anything for dinner. It is O.K. to draw everyday objects like cups and plates in your journal.

Our last stop was Oxford. We first visited Christ Church College. It has become a world-famous place to visit since it appeared in the Harry Potter movies. In the movies, Harry and everyone else eat dinner at the Hall of Christ Church. We also saw portraits of famous people who graduated from the college. When we were outside the building, I walked to the famous olive tree and touched it. "Because I touched this tree," I said, "I will get into Oxford University!" Then, my brother said to me with a smile, "I can't wait to see your portrait on the wall." Create your own avatar. Your drawing journal will become much more interesting.

Kenneth Shinozuka grew up in a big happy family of three generations. Since he was little, he has always been very close to his grandfather. He was Kenneth's first friend, his trusty driver, and his cook. He also taught him many life lessons. He was the person who Kenneth respected the most in the world.

When Kenneth was four, his grandfather went out for a walk one day and got lost. He had Alzheimer's disease. Everyone in Kenneth's family was in shock. His condition became worse over the next 10 years. He wandered off at night so often that someone had to keep an eye on him all night long. One night, Kenneth's grandfather got out of bed, and Kenneth saw it. At that moment, he said to himself, "Why don't I put pressure sensors on the heels of his socks?"

There were many things that Kenneth had to do. He first had to create a pressure sensor and then find a way to send a signal to his smart phone. Kenneth also tried many different materials to make comfortable socks for his elderly grandfather. When he felt like giving up, he thought about his grandfather's safety. After much trial and error, he finally succeeded in making his device. When it first worked, he was so happy that he jumped for joy. He could not believe that his invention actually worked. For his grandfather, Kenneth is the best inventor in the world. For Kenneth, his grandfather is still his best friend.
